Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling realizará TJPW Live in Las Vegas el 18 de abril en Estados Unidos. Caro tuvo la oportunidad de entrevistar a Hyper Misao antes de este importante show. Misao respondió varias de las preguntas de Pep. Entrevista con Hyper Misao (TJPW): Lo profesional y lo personal (Spanish & English)
Pep: Este año celebraste tu décimo aniversario como luchadora profesional. ¿Podrías contarnos cuándo y por qué decidiste convertirte en luchadora profesional? ¿Qué te motiva actualmente a seguir compitiendo al máximo nivel? ¿Qué significa TJPW para ti y tu vida?
Misao: Cuando estaba en un momento desesperante de mi vida y no lo pasaba tan bien, asistí a un evento donde me encontré con el combate Rojo (lucha callejera) de DDT Pro-Wrestling. Su espíritu de lucha me conmovió y despertó mi interés. Más tarde, en el evento Ryogoku Kokugikan de DDT, conocí TJPW e inmediatamente después del evento, contacté con su representante, el Sr. Koda. Tan solo un mes después de descubrir la lucha libre profesional por primera vez, me convertí en aprendiz.
Hubo un período en mi carrera de lucha libre en el que mi motivación decayó, pero el año pasado, una larga pausa debido a una fractura cambió mi perspectiva. Llegué a ver la lucha como algo increíblemente alegre y milagroso, más que nunca. Desde mi regreso, he estado luchando cada combate como si fuera el último, atesorando cada momento. TJPW es el primer lugar en mi vida donde he sentido que realmente pertenezco. Pero quedarme aquí requiere la dura realidad de superarme constantemente. Para seguir protegiendo este preciado lugar, seguiré trabajando duro.
Pep: En Grand Princess ’25, ganaste el Campeonato de Parejas Princess con Shoko Nakajima. ¿Cómo te sentiste durante el combate? ¿Pensaste que algo cambió cuando perdiste la máscara? ¿Qué significa esta victoria para ti?
Misao: En secreto, durante mi largo descanso, soñaba con ganar los cinturones de parejas con Nakajima-san. Ese sueño se convirtió en mi motivación para regresar. Nakajima-san siempre me ha guiado, así que esta vez quería ganar y regalarle el cinturón. Durante el combate, luché con una férrea determinación para ser quien lo terminara. Cuando me quitaron la máscara, me descoloqué brevemente, pero mis ganas de ganar superaron esa confusión. Al final, conseguí la victoria, pero creo firmemente que fue algo que ganamos “juntos”. El cinturón es prueba de nuestro vínculo.
Pep: En abril participarás en la gira estadounidense de TJPW. ¿Qué tipo de combate quieres tener? ¿Cuáles son tus expectativas para esta gira? ¿Tienes algún plan turístico o cosas que quieras ver o hacer en Las Vegas?
Misao: Se ha fijado un combate por el título contra OberEats. Esta será nuestra primera defensa y quiero ganar sin dudarlo. Como es en Las Vegas, la capital del entretenimiento, quiero darlo todo y que sea un espectáculo salvaje y llamativo.
Nunca he apostado en Japón, así que mientras esté allí, me gustaría probar suerte en las tragamonedas de un casino. Quizás también quiera ver algunos espectáculos de entretenimiento deslumbrantes.
Pep: ¿Podrías contarnos sobre tus aficiones y las cosas que te gusta hacer fuera de la lucha libre? ¿Podrías contarnos cómo es un día típico en la vida de Hyper Misao?
Misao: Suelo dormir muchísimas horas en casa; duermo muchísimo. Cuando estoy despierta, veo manga, dramas o realities sin parar. Pero el cine es mi lugar predilecto, así que suelo salir a ver películas o comedias. Suelo visitar cines pequeños.
Pep: Si pudieras traer a cualquier luchador del mundo para competir contra ti en un combate en un ring de TJPW, ¿a quién elegirías y qué estipulación elegirías? ¿Por qué a él o a ella? ¿Y por qué esta estipulación?
Misao: Como ver Rojo (lucha libre en la calle) me inspiró a ser luchador, me encantaría participar en un combate de Rojo. Quiero tener un combate de Anywhere Fall No-DQ en un gran parque de atracciones. Competiría en un combate por equipos como parte de “Kyoraku Kyomei”. Como oponentes, elegiría estrellas como Minnie y Mickey, Tom y Jerry, o Freddy y Jason.
Pep: TJPW debutó recientemente en Latinoamérica con algunos combates en Chile. ¿Tienes algún mensaje para tus fans en Latinoamérica y España?
Misao: ¡Hola, chicos grandes! Gracias por todo su apoyo. ¡Nuestros corazones son uno a pesar de la distancia! Disfruta la lucha libre conmigo y conservemos el amor y la paz. ¡Espero conocerte en persona algún día! ¡Te quiero!

Pep: This year you celebrated your 10th anniversary as a professional wrestler. Could you tell us when and why you decided to become a professional wrestler? What currently motivates you to continue competing at the highest level? What does TJPW mean to you and your life?
Misao: When I was in despair about life, I happened to attend an event where I encountered DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Rojo (wrestling on the street) match. Their fighting spirit touched my heart and piqued my interest. Later, at DDT’s Ryogoku Kokugikan event, I learned about TJPW, and immediately after the show, I contacted TJPW’s representative, Mr. Koda. Just one month after discovering pro wrestling for the first time, I became a trainee.
There was a period in my wrestling career when my motivation waned, but last year, a long hiatus due to a broken bone shifted my perspective. I came to see being able to wrestle as something incredibly joyful and miraculous—more than ever before. Since my return, I’ve been fighting each match as if it might be my last, treasuring every moment. TJPW is the first place in my life where I’ve felt I truly belong. But staying here requires the harsh reality of constantly pushing myself. To keep protecting this precious place, I’ll continue to work hard.
Pep: At Grand Princess ’25, you won the Princess Tag Team Championship with Shoko Nakajima. How did you felt during the game? Did you think that something changed when you lost your mask in the game? What does this victory means to you?
Misao: Secretly, during my long hiatus, I had been dreaming of winning the tag belts with Nakajima-san. That dream became my motivation to return. Nakajima-san has always been the one leading me, so this time, I wanted to win and give the belt to her as a gift. During the match, I fought with a fierce determination to be the one to finish it. When my mask came off, I was briefly thrown off, but my desire to win outweighed that confusion. In the end, I secured the victory, but I strongly feel this was something we won “together”. The belt is proof of our bond.
Pep: In April you will be participating in TJPW’s US tour. What a kind of game do you want to have? What are your expectations for this tour? Do you have any touristic plans or things you want to see or do in Las Vegas?
Misao: A title match with OberEats has been set. This will be our first defense, and I absolutely want to win. Since it’s in Las Vegas—the entertainment capital—I want to go all out and make it a wild, flashy spectacle.
I’ve never gambled in Japan, so while I’m there, I’d like to try my hand at the slots in a casino. I might also want to see some dazzling entertainment shows.
Pep: Could you tell us about your hobbies and the things you like to do outside of wrestling? Could you tell us what a typical day in the life of Hyper Misao is like?
Misao: I tend to sleep for insanely long hours at home—I’m an unbelievable long sleeper. When I’m awake, I binge-watch manga, dramas, or reality shows. But theaters are my power spot, so I often go out to watch movies or comedy shows. I usually visit small theaters.
Pep: If you could bring any wrestler in the world to compete against you in a match in a TJPW ring, who would you choose and what stipulation would you choose? Why him or her? And why this stipulation?
Misao: Since watching Rojo (wrestling on the street) inspired me to become a wrestler, I’d love to do a Rojo match. I want to have an Anywhere Fall No-DQ match at a big amusement park. I’d compete in a tag match as part of “Kyoraku Kyomei”. For opponents, I’d pick stars like Minnie & Mickey, Tom & Jerry, or Freddy & Jason.
Pep: TJPW recently made their debut in Latin America with some games in Chile. Do you have any message for your fans in Latin America and Spain?
Misao: ¡Hola, niños grandes! Thank you for all your support. Our hearts are one even though we are far away from each other! Enjoy wrestling with me and let’s keep love and peace. I look forward to meeting you in person someday! I Love you! ¡Te quiero!
