Jack: ¡Hola! Muchas gracias por invitarme. Es un placer estar aquí. Es bueno hablar contigo.
Pep: Opino igual. Bien, Jack, queríamos hacerte algunas preguntas. Y para empezar queríamos ir al inicio de tu carrera. Entonces, ¿puedes decirnos cuándo y por qué decidiste convertirte en luchador profesional? ¿Qué te motiva actualmente para competir al más alto nivel?
Jack: Bien, comencé a ver lucha libre desde muy joven y ahí fue donde me enamoré. Y tal vez a los cinco o seis años comencé a mirar. Tengo un hermano mayor y él estaba mirando. Empecé a mirar. Me enamoré inmediatamente.
Al ser de Escocia, el futbol es una norma. Es normal que los niños crezcan y jueguen al fútbol. Y ese es el camino que recorrí. Estaba muy centrado en el fútbol y tenía relativamente éxito. No estaba seguro de que conseguiría un contrato profesional. Conseguí jugar en clubes profesionales. Y desafortunadamente, las lesiones detuvieron mi carrera. Y ya como que me había enamorado del fútbol.
Entonces, cuando cumplí 24 años y ya no podía jugar fútbol, decidí que lo único que iba a hacer era probar la lucha libre. Y entré, dije ahora o nunca a los 24. Es un poco tarde, en mi opinión. Pero solo quería saltar y darlo todo en la lucha libre. Y tratar de dejar claro ahora que la etapa de mi vida en el fútbol estaba terminada.
Pep: Está bien, sí, lo entiendo. Además, te ayuda en la transición de un deporte a otro si tienes la disciplina y tu cuerpo están acostumbrados al régimen de entrenamiento y a hacer ejercicio con regularidad. Entonces eso también ayuda. Sí, recuerdo haber leído algo sobre ti como futbolista profesional en el pasado. Entonces, sso es realmente genial. Y personalmente no creo que 24 sea una edad tardía para la lucha libre, porque en realidad en Japón muchos luchadores comienzan cuando tienen poco más de 20 años.
Jack: No, eso es verdad. Eso es cierto. Optando por un sistema de Young Boy. Estoy de acuerdo. Creo que simplemente porque pasé tanto tiempo persiguiendo la ambición futbolística para luego detenerme. Tenía 24 y cambié a un deporte completamente diferente. Pep: Genial. Ahora quiero entrar en tu estilo de lucha libre. En tu caso combinas la lucha técnica con algunos movimientos rápidos. Entonces, ¿por qué decidiste adoptar este estilo de lucha libre? ¿Tienes uno o más luchadores que sean tus referentes para construir ese estilo?
Jack: Sí, sí. Entonces, cuando era más joven, siempre me atraían los chicos de estilo similar. Los Chris Jerichos, los AJ Styles, los Kenny Omegas, Marufujis aquí en Japón. Ellos no eran los típicos pesos súper pesados, pero tenían ese estilo técnico. Podían volar, podían arrojar a la gente. Y no soy el más grande, no soy el estereotipado gran peso pesado. Pero, ya sabes, los luchadores suelen ser retratados, por los fans promedio, como de peso súper pesado y simplemente no soy así. Tengo una constitución natural. Entonces, sí, estos siempre fueron los que llamaron mi atención. Y los luchadores que encontré más emocionantes. Entonces, sí, es por eso por lo que tomé ese camino.
Pep: Es bueno saberlo. Sí, es como si tradicionalmente tuvieran esta idea o como el luchador debe ser grande, fuerte, pero luego la estética y también los estilos de lucha son diferentes en cada país. Eso permitió, como a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90, cambiar. Exposición en los pesos pesados junior o los pesos crucero. Muestran que no es necesario ser tan grande para ser un luchador bueno o incluso increíble.
Jack: Sí, nunca he pasado mucho tiempo recordando los días en los que tenías que ser este tipo grande y engreído, como solía ser en esta industria. Ahora no es como era hace 20 o 30 años. Jack: ¡Sí! Afortunadamente, cuando comencé a luchar tuve muchas oportunidades bastante rápido y creo que también se debió exclusivamente a mi apariencia. Vengo del fútbol, ya estaba en buena forma. Empecé a ir al gimnasio, así que estaba desarrollando músculo, por lo que las empresas lo vieron como una buena ventaja desde el principio. Me dieron oportunidades, pero tal vez los muchachos que habían estado luchando durante dos, tres, cuatro años, más que yo, aún no las habían tenido. Así que sí, estaba aprovechando esas oportunidades.
Siento que además de lucir bien, tengo una buena actitud. Tengo voluntad de aprender y creo que las empresas también pueden verlo. Entonces, desde muy temprano en mi carrera, me dieron oportunidades, pero muchos muchachos todavía trabajaban para lograrlas. Creo que en mi séptimo combate estaba luchando en Alemania y al cabo de un año ya era un habitual de las compañías escocesas más importantes, ICW y Discovery Wrestling y estaba ya ganando campeonatos e importancia en la lucha libre. Así que sí, me sentí involucrado y sí, solo tuve que aprender. Tengo que pensar o nadar. Entonces fue genial para mí.
Pep: Eso es genial y también después de eso recibiste tu primera invitación para competir en NOAH en 2022. Y has conseguido tantas cosas en tan poco tiempo. Has sido Campeón en Parejas, has sido Campeón Nacional. Entonces, ¿qué significa NOAH para ti? ¿Qué momentos destacarías como tus favoritos hasta ahora?
Jack: Sí, hasta ahora. Bueno, le debo mucho a NOAH. Me dio la oportunidad de venir aquí. Todo empezó con un correo electrónico. Siempre he sido fanático de la lucha libre japonesa y pensé que quería luchar allí durante mi carrera. Además, Jack, el último año formaste parte de una de las facciones más populares de la lucha libre japonesa, que son los Good Looking Guys. ¿Por qué decidiste unirte a esa facción? ¿Qué significan tus compañeros para ti?

Pep: ¡Sí! Recuerdo que grabaste algunos vlogs cuando hacías cosas fuera del ring. También es importante conocer a sus colegas. Jack: Sí, a veces puede ser difícil. De hecho, estuve en casa en Escocia hace dos semanas, durante tres semanas, y allí es verano, pero en realidad solo llega a 20°. Pep: Hello, friends! Welcome back to this space. We have received a visit from a new wrestler. On this occasion we have the visit of Jack Morris, a Scottish wrestler who competes in Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. Welcome, Jack. It’s good to have you here.
Jack: Hello! Thank you very much for inviting me. It is a pleasure to be here. It’s good to talk to you.
Pep: I think the same. Well, Jack, we wanted to ask you some questions. And to start we wanted to go to the beginning of your career. So can you tell us when and why you decided to become a professional wrestler? What currently motivates you to compete at the highest level?
Jack: Well, I started watching wrestling at a young age and that’s where I fell in love. And maybe at five or six years old I started looking. I have an older brother and he was watching. I started looking. I fell in love immediately.
Being from Scotland, football is a norm. It is normal for children to grow up and play football. And that is the path he takes. He was very focused on football and was relatively successful. I wasn’t sure I would get a professional contract. I managed to play in professional clubs. And unfortunately, injuries stopped my career. And I had already kind of fallen in love with football.
So when I turned 24 and could no longer play soccer, he decided the only thing he was going to do was try wrestling. And come in, I said now or never at 24. It’s a little late, in my opinion. But I just wanted to jump in and give it my all in wrestling. And try to make it clear now that the stage of my life in football was over.
Pep: Okay, yeah, I get it. Additionally, it helps you transition from one sport to another if you have the discipline and your body is used to the training regimen and exercising regularly. So that helps too. Yes, I remember reading something about you as a professional footballer in the past. So, that’s really cool. And personally I don’t think 24 is a late age for wrestling, because actually in Japan many wrestlers start when they are in their early 20s.
Jack: No, that’s true. That’s true. Opting for a Young Boy system. I agree. I think it was simply because I spent so much time pursuing football ambition and then stopping. I was 24 and switched to a completely different sport. Yeah, I just thought, sure, I’m going to start at 24. Then I have to put everything into it and really try to make the most of that goal.
Pep: Great. Now I want to get into your wrestling style. In your case you combine technical fighting with some quick movements. So why did you decide to adopt this style of wrestling? Do you have one or more fighters who are your references to build that style?
Jack: Yeah, yeah. So when I was younger, I was always attracted to guys of similar style. The Chris Jerichos, the AJ Styles, the Kenny Omegas, Marufujis here in Japan. They weren’t your typical super heavyweights, but they had that technical style. They could fly, they could throw people. And I’m not the biggest, I’m not the stereotypical big heavyweight.
But, you know, wrestlers are often portrayed, by average fans, as super heavyweights and I’m just not like that. I have a natural constitution. So, yeah, these were always the ones that caught my attention. And the fighters I found most exciting. So, yeah, that’s why I took that path.
Pep: Good to know. Yes, it is as if they traditionally had this idea or that the wrestler should be big, strong, but then the aesthetics and also the wrestling styles are different in each country. That allowed, as in the late 80s and early 90s, to change. Exposure at junior heavyweights or cruiserweights. They show that you don’t have to be that big to be a good or even an amazing wrestler.
Jack: Yeah, I’ve never spent much time remembering the days when you had to be this big, cocky guy, like I used to be in this industry. Now it’s not like it was 20 or 30 years ago. So, yeah, no, that’s always a style that I’ve wanted to adapt because these are the men that I looked at and was most excited about. Then yes!
Pep: Excellent! Now, also about the beginning of your career, you are a Scottish wrestler and you have competed on the European scene before going to Japan. So what can you tell us about your experience competing in Europe and also do you have any moments that you would like to highlight from that period of your career?
Jack: Yes! Fortunately, when I started wrestling I got a lot of opportunities pretty quickly and I think it was also solely due to my appearance. I come from football, I was already in good shape. I started going to the gym, so I was building muscle, so companies saw that as a good advantage from the beginning. They gave me opportunities, but maybe the guys who had been wrestling for two, three, four years, longer than me, hadn’t had them yet. So yeah, I was taking advantage of those opportunities.
I feel that in addition to looking good, I have a good attitude. I have a willingness to learn and I think companies can see that too. So, very early in my career, I was given opportunities, but a lot of guys were still working for them. I think in my seventh match I was fighting in Germany and after a year I was already a regular in the most important Scottish companies, ICW and Discovery Wrestling and I was already gaining championships and importance in wrestling. So yes, I felt involved and yes, I just had to learn. I have to think or swim. So it was great for me.
Pep: That’s great and also after that you received your first invitation to compete in NOAH in 2022. And you have achieved so many things in such a short time. You have been Champion in Couples, you have been National Champion. So what does NOAH mean to you? What moments would you highlight as your favorites so far?
Jack: Yeah, so far. Well, I owe a lot to NOAH. It gave me the opportunity to come here. It all started with an email. I’ve always been a fan of Japanese wrestling and thought I wanted to wrestle there during my career. So, I emailed NOAH, they responded, they offered me a three-month tour and the three-month tour led to, well, I’m still here almost two years later, which is amazing.
So, I do a lot because I was still trying to break into the bigger independent promotions in the UK scene and the European scene, so they took a lot of risks on me. But again, I just needed that opportunity, I feel that too. I think once I had the opportunity, I knew I was going to come, I knew I was going to show people what I could do, I was going to learn and I think it’s been mutual.
And you have seen what I have also been able to achieve. The National Championship, the fifth reigning GHC tag team champion. With Anthony Green. In addition to the titles, I have fought against Keiji Mutoh. I wrestled at Muta’s retirement show. I fought in the Tokyo Dome for this show. So these are things I could never imagine happening two years ago. But hey, I think hard work is worth it.
Pep: Great, man. And it’s also motivation because you’ve been there for less than two years and you competed in the Tokyo Dome. You’ve fought some of the best fighters in the world. Not only in the present, but historically. You have won championships. That’s really cool. Then you still have more to do. We can’t wait to see what you will do. There is more to come.
Also, Jack, last year you were part of one of the most popular factions in Japanese wrestling, which is the Good Looking Guys. Why did you decide to join that faction? What do your colleagues mean to you?
Jack: So, Jake Lee walked into the company on New Year’s Day 2023. And he walked down the ramp, came into the ring, and shook my hand. And from there an association was formed. And I think it would be seen in the first matches that Jake and I had, I think in the first month of 2023 we did a lot of team matches. And there was already chemistry there.
And then, very soon, Anthony Green showed up and came back. And the three of us get along very well. There was chemistry, there was a bond. And YO-HEY and Tadasuke joined in and GLG got to work. Soon LJ (Cleary) arrived. And I think the six of us showed that we were a good group and that we are more than a team. We didn’t just meet at shows. We go out to socialize. We did things outside of wrestling. And I think it showed in the chemistry and the bond and how we worked together in the ring, you know?
Pep: I remember you recorded some vlogs when you were doing things outside of the ring. It’s also important to know your colleagues. In this case, your stablemates and deepen the bond like you said. That’s great. Unfortunately, this did not last long. In NOAH DESTINATION 2024, the dissolution of GLG occurred as Jake Lee had anticipated and the members of the faction face each other in a trio match but the key part was what happened after the match.
Gedo entered the ring and offered Jake Lee a membership in the Bullet Club War Dogs, which has been another faction that has been working with GLG these past few months. They have fought at NOAH shows. Some of you have wrestled at NJPW shows. They have fought on ALL TOGETHER. So in the end, Jake Lee accepts Gedo’s proposal. He Chockslamed you. And he said goodbye to NOAH. And now he is competing in the G1 Climax in New Japan.
Well, it was a shocking moment, you know? Grouped all together, They have been dominating NOAH for a year. You literally won every NOAH championship. So. It’s crazy. How do you feel? Seriously, how do you feel after the end of GLG? And what do you think of the wrestler now known as the smart bastard, as a competitor and as a person?
Jack: Yes! Well, I don’t think it was time for GLG to end, but Jake Lee decided to take it on himself without discussing it with the others, but GLG was going to disband. And that he did. For 18 months, I was next to Jake Lee and had to listen to those boring promos where he rambled and rambled about how he was going to lead NOAH. He was going to take the helm. He was going to lead the ark. And it turns out he was just a hypocrite. Just a hypocrite because, you know, the first chance he gets, he jumps ship and walks away. And he can call himself a smart bastard if he wants, but he won’t feel so smart the next time we step in the ring together.
Because it will happen someday, sooner or later. And we saw what happened at the Nippon Budokan. And I’m going to get angry. I’m going to get my revenge. I’m not going to forget that. I am a man who does not forget. So when we meet again, Jake Lee will regret his decision to disband GLG and leave NOAH and join New Japan.
Pep: Yes, I really hope all this because there is bad blood between you two. It is not the first time that Jake Lee leaves a company on these terms. Actually, it’s the second time. And I don’t know if New Japan will ultimately be his final destination.
But yeah, like you said, I talked to Jake two weeks before DESTIANTION. And he told me that he understood that there was a negative feeling among GLG members because the decision was his and he had not consulted with anyone. So that’s also bad because you may be the leader, but you’re not alone in a faction.
Jack: Yeah. Well, we’ll see. Actions have consequences. Then we’ll see what happens.
Pep: Well guys everywhere, look forward to the moment when Jack Morris and Jake Lee collide in the ring, that will be electrifying. Now, in more recent things, we are just over a week away from N-1 Victory 2024.
You will compete again. It will be your third time. You will try to win it on your third try. So, you will compete in Block A with former champions like (Kaito) Kiyomiya and (Go) Shiozaki.
And this tournament is special because, as the Cyberfight group and Marufuji have explained before, they wanted to deepen their relationships with WWE. And now we have participants from NXT and Dragon Gate and so on. So, it’s really a special event where the majority of participants are also young talents, which is a key part. What are your expectations for this edition of the tournament, what do you think will be the key matches of the group stage?
Jack: Yeah, obviously you mentioned this is my third tournament. I think this is the most competitive group I have ever been a part of. You mentioned that, that the NXT guys are coming. So, there will be more eyes on the product, this new partnership between Cyberfight and WWE. So, it’s great to have the NXT guys here. Hopefully that will attract more attention, like I just said.
And yes, I’m looking forward to this. It’s going to be very competitive. And yes, there are some key fights there. Fighting? I have pointed out a few. Lastly, this will be my third year. And Masa (Kitamiya) has been on every one of my blocks. The first year I beat him. Last year he beat me. So we are going to decide the best of three, the best time and it is also my first fight. That is why it is important to start tournaments with a victory. Then we’ll see how, let’s go with Masa.
Another one I’ve seen is Kiyomiya. Obviously he’s a champion, it won’t be for the title, but if you get a result against the champion, if I manage to beat him, which I plan to do, I think it will certainly lead to a title shot at some point. So, we’ll see what happens there too.
Pep: Good. Yeah, it’s great that you mentioned that because Masa Kitamiya has been one of NOAH’s MVPs this last year, as has his rivalry with New Japan’s Tomohiro Ishii. Many international fans have been paying attention to him. He’s had some of the best matches in NOAH this year so far.
And you also mentioned Kiyomiya. Like you said, he is NOAH’s champion. The GHC Heavyweight Champion. Anyone who gets a pin or submission on him gets a title shot in the future. So that’s also something that happened last year when Kenoh beat Jake Lee, didn’t win the N-1, but then got a title shot. So, I think those could be the two key fights. And you also had your debut in N-1 two years ago against Kiyomiya and you beat him. So, you have that experience under your belt.
Jack: I have a track record in my favor. I have a story with Kaito. I’ve also challenged Kaito before for a belt and he, he, he beat me that time. But if it happens again, this time the result will be different.
Pep: Great. And also on your Block, there is another previous winner and it is a former GHC Heavyweight Champion and NOAH icon, Go Shiozaki. You haven’t faced him yet in N-1. So do you have any strategy prepared for him? And what is your impression of him as a competitor? He just won the Zero-1 Heavyweight Championship. So now he is in a good moment in his career.
Jack: Yeah, no, definitely. I have a lot of respect for Go (Shiozaki). I watched NOAH for a long time before I even stepped into a wrestling ring. I have a lot of respect for Go. He is a legend here, a legend in Japan. And getting to face him one on one for the first time. I’ve been here for two years. I have never been in a ring one on one with him. I really want to do it. Like I said, I respect that, but when the bell rings, I’m going for the win. So by any means necessary. It’s my time to shine. Sorry, Go.
Pep: Yes, take advantage of that opportunity. It’s now harder to get one-on-one matches with most NOAH veterans. So, this is one of those rare opportunities, so you can make the most of it.
Also, right after N-1, they have a UK tour. NOAH announced some dates internationally. They will compete for the first time in September in the United Kingdom. They have three dates. London, Manchester and Edinburgh, so you will return to your home country of Scotland and compete in the main event. That’s a great thing. And NOAH has a show in October in Germany. And in the past NOAH has competed in many other countries, such as Peru, Chile, Brazil, Mexico.
So, what expectations do you have for these confirmed tours? Especially in Edinburgh because it’s your return home. What awaits the fans who will attend? And do you think any other country should receive a NOAH tour? Because as I said before, they have been to Latin America before. Some NOAH wrestlers compete in the USA and Canada. So what can we expect?
Jack: I think it’s great that the company is coming. It’s very exciting! The UK tour is on September 6, 7 and 8. Edinburgh, Manchester and London. Get your tickets! But yeah, it’s very exciting. It’s great! NOAH leaves Japan. We are going to the United Kingdom. The shows are going to be great. It is also a collaboration with PROGRESS Wrestling, which has a great roster of its own.
Every show is going to be special. Each show is going to be different from the others. And yes, the fans who come, the people who bought tickets, will be in for a surprise because NOAH, in my opinion, is the highest level of wrestling in the world and will be on the doorstep of British fans. So come and see us there.
About other companies, I think it would be great if NOAH did more in Europe. They touched Germany, but there is also France. There is a great wrestling scene in Spain. Belgium is growing more and more. All of these companies have their own wrestling scene. It would be nice if NOAH could do some joint shows there. And yes, it’s exciting to move on and see this develop into a UK tour, so let’s see what happens next.
Pep: I hope we have the opportunity to see NOAH in other countries. Like you said, the European scene is really booming right now. France has been growing incredibly this last year, as has Spain. Belgium has this relationship with France.
Also, Kiyomiya told me that he plans to help NOAH grow more so they can do these tours more frequently. Because they know that international fans also deserve the opportunity to see the product live. It is always difficult when a company always stays only in its main country. So we’re looking forward to that and also about the Edinburgh show because you’ll be the main event there.
Jack: Very exciting times to come.
Pep: Great, now I wanted to talk about you but not inside the ring, outside the ring. Could you tell us about your hobbies? The things you like besides wrestling.
Jack: I like to stay in shape. If it wasn’t for wrestling, I would still be in the gym, working out. I find it great. Great thing everyone can do. Exercise and lift some weights for yourself. I walk a lot, listen to a lot of podcasts. I’m still a big fan of football simply for not playing it. So I’m going to watch the local team here, Urawa Reds. So yeah, I’m very lucky that this is my life. I can fight here in Japan. I’m going to live here in Japan. Tokyo is very close to where I live. And sometimes I think I take it for granted because it’s so accessible to me. But even after two years, I still find it an amazing place, the culture, the people, the food. I am very lucky to be able to live this experience. So yes!
Pep: Excellent! Do you also follow the Premier League or the Scottish League?
Jack: Yes. I follow both. I follow both. I’m a big Newcastle fan in the Premier League. And in Scotland, I’m from Dunfermline in Scotland and Dunfermline Athletic playing in black and white stripes. I’m a Newcastle fan because they play in black and white kits. Every Scottish fan has an English team. So Newcastle is mine. But yes, I follow them.
In fact, Newcastle will play here next week against the Urawa Reds. So I’m going to take advantage, which is crazy. I got tickets so it’s very exciting to see Newcastle in Japan. So yeah, it’ll be great. And what about you? Do you follow anyone? Premier League?
Pep: In the Premier League, you mean?
Jack: Yes!
Pep: Liverpool.
Jack: Liverpool. Yes. New Coach. Exciting times.
Pep: Exciting times. It’s a new beginning for them. Then we will see who reaches the final stages well. It’s always difficult when you play with Manchester City in the league.
Jack: Yes!
Pep: Can you also tell us, maybe describe what a normal day in your life is like?
Jack: A normal day. I’m committed to that. I practically exercise every day. I always do some type of physical activity, whether it’s lifting weights or some cardio. I’m going to sound really boring, but every day I have a step goal that I have to achieve. But while doing that, I listen to podcasts. I think it’s great. Yes, good food, good friends around here. Computer games. FIFA competitive level. Again, I watch the local football team. And yes, to be honest, I live a good quiet life.
Pep: That’s right. How many steps do you do each day? What is your goal?
Jack: At least 20,000.
Pep: Wow. At least 20,000. You look in phenomenal shape, so that doesn’t surprise me.
Jack: Thank you, thank you, yes. It helps me when I don’t have a car here. I can drive in Scotland, but I don’t have a car here, so I have no choice but to walk.
My goal is 20,000, but it also keeps me sane, so it’s good. It’s like a podcast, learn some new things, very good.
Pep: And now it’s summer in Japan and you’re from a country that doesn’t have this kind of weather. And where it rains a lot, how have you been adapting to this type of climate?
Jack: Yeah, it can be hard sometimes. I was actually home in Scotland two weeks ago, for three weeks, and it’s summer there, but it’s only really getting to 20°. And I came back to Japan and here the temperature is much higher, and yes, it is a little different for my Scottish skin, but yes. It rains every day in Scotland, so it’s okay, I can cope.
Pep: Well, now I wanted to get back to wrestling. DESTINATION was a great event for NOAH, they had great matches and exciting things for the future of NOAH. We had that Dream Match between Naomichi Marufuji and AJ Styles, and this opened up a world of possibilities between NOAH talent and world talent, so if you could bring any wrestler from any company that you haven’t faced yet to compete in the Ring of NOAH, who would you choose and why? And if you could tell us two or three examples, that would be great.
Jack: Yeah, so AJ Styles would be one, him. Against Marufuji, two. Marufuji and AJ Styles are dream matches for me. And luckily, last month I got to fight Marufuji at Korakuen Hall and in singles, which was amazing. AJ Styles, I would love to fight him, I’m a big fan. Other possible fighters due to the agreement between Cyberfight and WWE, since I would love to fight Randy Orton. I think it’s amazing. Maybe, well, maybe not, but he is 100% one of the best wrestlers of all time. I’m a big fan. Yeah, maybe outside of WWE, probably Kenny Omega. It has a lot of history in Japan. So yeah, those are probably the three I would pick. AJ, Randy and Kenny would be dream matches for me. So let’s see if it ever happened.
Pep: Yeah, hopefully we’ll keep our fingers crossed for that. They are three of the greatest to have ever done it. Kenny is recovering from health problems. They really would be three great fights. Styles said he wants to return to Japan. He’s actually in Japan right now, but let’s hope it’s a good time for it.
Jack: Yeah, we’ll see. We’ll see. I heard that too. So, we’ll see what happens.
Pep: And also in the opposite sense, if you had the opportunity to go compete in NXT, would you take advantage of it?
Jack: Hmm interesting. My heart is here in NOAH. So we would have to see what shape it would be. A unique appearance? I’m sure. Why not? But I have goals to achieve in NOAH. I have an N-1 to win. I have to win a GHC Heavyweight Championship. And yes, those are my goals right now here at NOAH. So, I’m focused on them and we’ll see what opportunities come along the way.
Pep: Okay. Would you say then that those are your goals for the rest of the year? Or is there anything else you would like to mention?
Jack: My goals for the rest of the year? Well, N-1 is my priority right now. Win the N-1. So once I do that, I will face the GHC Heavyweight Champion. And I plan to win if that opportunity arises. So, it could be the end of the year goal. Because once I win the N-1, then yes, that title belt will come back to me or rather, it will come to me.
Pep: Okay, well, we’ll be waiting for you. You know they just announced the New Year’s show, which will literally be on January 1st. So it will be a good start to the New Year. Maybe you’ll enter the show as GHC Heavyweight Champion. So it would be cool to see it.
