Stardom continua su programación de shows por Japón en 2025 y se prepara para una nueva gira en Estados Unidos en abril. Además, cerrará el próximo mes con su gran evento de primavera: All Star Grand Queendom. Uno de los combates que tendremos en el evento, es una nueva defensa del IWGP Women’s Championship: Mayu Iwatani (c) vs Syuri. Pep S. Caro tuvo la oportunidad de entrevistar a Syuri antes de este importante show y de la gira en Las Vegas. Los temas fueron sobre la unidad God’s Eye, la relación entre sus miembros, su rol como líder y mentora, la rivalidad con H.A.T.E. y con Konami, la gira en Estados Unidos, su intención de ganar el IWGP Women’s Championship, su vida personal, objetivos, dream match y mucho más.

Entrevista con Syuri (STARDOM): Lo profesional y lo personal (Spanish & English)
Pep: Eres la líder de God’s Eye. Actualmente es la unidad con más miembros en Stardom. ¿Cómo es la relación entre los miembros? ¿Con qué frecuencia entrenan juntas?
Syuri: La relación en la unidad es muy buena. Además, cada una tiene sus propias metas y nos esforzamos por alcanzarlas. Sinceramente, no practicamos juntas muy a menudo, ¡pero lo hacemos cuando podemos!
Pep: God’s Eye es una de las unidades con más miembros jóvenes. Hemos visto especialmente cómo Ranna Yagami está aprendiendo bajo tu tutela. ¿Consideras tu responsabilidad ser un mentor para la nueva generación? ¿Qué metas tiene la unidad para el futuro?
Syuri: Quiero que los miembros de God’s Eye brillen desde el momento en que se unen a la unidad. Si necesitan mis habilidades para lograrlo, haré todo lo posible por enseñarles. Por supuesto, también espero el crecimiento de la nueva generación. Entre ellas, tengo grandes expectativas para Ranna (Yagami).
Como unidad, creo que cada miembro brilla. Por supuesto, quiero que God’s Eye tenga tantos cinturones como sea posible, como los de Artistas y de Diosas. ¡Quiero asegurarme de que para finales de año la gente me diga que God’s Eye fue la mejor unidad de 2025!
Pep: Konami los traicionó en 2024 y se unió a H.A.T.E.; desde entonces, han estado en una guerra entre unidades. ¿Será God’s Eye el que derrote a H.A.T.E. y restaure el orden en Stardom?
Syuri: Sin duda los derrotaré (a H.A.T.E.) y restableceré el orden.
Pep: Volviendo a Konami, en Dream Queendom 2024 se enfrentaron en un combate individual. Desafortunadamente, el resultado no fue el esperado y vimos tu frustración. ¿Te gustaría que el combate se lleve a cabo pronto? ¿Te gustaría que fuera un combate con las reglas UWF?
Syuri: Estaba muy frustrada por el último combate de 2024. En All Star Grand Queendom 2025, retaré a Mayu Iwatani por el Campeonato Femenino IWGP. Estoy segura de que tendremos una revancha más adelante con Konami. No me obsesionan las reglas UWF. Solo quiero la revancha.
Pep: Te enfrentaste a Sareee en Sareee-ISM Chapter VII en marzo. Fue uno de los combates más esperados por los fans de la lucha libre profesional. ¿Qué sentiste después del combate?
Syuri: El combate con Sareee terminó en empate. Quiero evolucionar, luchar más con ella y ganar la próxima vez.
Pep: Sareee ha declarado públicamente que su objetivo en 2025 es ganar el Campeonato Femenino IWGP. En 2024, estuviste cerca, pero no pudiste destronar a Mayu Iwatani. ¿Aún tienes ese campeonato en mente o hay otros campeonatos de Stardom/NJPW que te gustaría ganar?
Syuri: Siempre he querido llevar el título femenino de la IWGP en mi cintura, así que ahora mismo estoy centrada en el cinturón y en el combate contra Mayu Iwatani en All Star Grand Queendom.
Pep: Queremos saber un poco más de ti. ¿Podrías contarnos cuáles son tus aficiones actuales? ¿Y cómo es un día normal en tu vida? Por ejemplo, un día en que tienes una lucha.
Syuri: Mi afición es ver lecturas de tarot en YouTube. También quiero trabajar como actriz, así que suelo practicar escenas de acción para aprovechar la lucha libre y las artes marciales que he aprendido hasta ahora.
Pep: Stardom regresa a Estados Unidos y ofrecerá dos shows en Las Vegas: el 17 y el 18 de abril. ¿Cuáles son tus expectativas para esta gira? ¿Qué tipo de combate te gustaría tener?
Syuri: ¡Quiero luchar contra más luchadoras extranjeras! Quiero que mucha gente conozca a Syuri y espero que la diversión de Stardom llegue a todo el mundo.
Pep: Te has enfrentado a grandes oponentes a lo largo de tu carrera. El año pasado vimos un combate inesperado pero muy popular cuando te enfrentaste a Masha Slamovich en Estados Unidos. ¿Hay algún otro oponente del mundo al que aún no te hayas enfrentado y con el que te gustaría tener un combate individual?
Syuri: Un oponente del mundo al que aún no te hayas enfrentado y con el que te gustaría tener un combate individual… Me gustaría pelear con luchadoras de todo el mundo, ¡me gustaría pelear con Athena!
Pep: ¿Cuáles son tus metas para 2025? ¿Qué planeas hacer para lograrlas?
Syuri: Primero que nada, ¡me centraré en portar el Campeonato Femenino IWGP! ¡Seguiré entrenando y practicando para mejorar aún más!

Pep: You are the leader of God’s Eye. It is currently the unit with the most members in Stardom. What is the relationship between the members like? How often do you train together?
Syuri: The relationship in the unit is very good. Not only that, but each of us has their own individual goals and we are working hard towards them. Honestly, we don’t practice together very often, but we do it when we can!
Pep: God’s Eye is one of the units with the youngest members. We have seen especially how Ranna Yagami is learning under your tutelage. Do you consider it your responsibility to be a mentor to the new generation? What goals does the unit have for the future?
Syuri: I want the members of God’s Eye to shine since the momento they join the unit. If they need my skills to do that, I will do my best to teach them. Of course, I also hope for the growth of the new generation. Among them, I have high expectations for Ranna (Yagami).
As a unit, I believe each member shines. Of course, I want God’s Eye to have as many belts as possible, such as the Artist and Goddess belts. I want to make sure that people tell me by the end of the year that God’s Eye was the best unit in 2025!
Pep: Konami betrayed you in 2024 and joined H.A.T.E., since then, they have been in a war between units. Is God’s Eye the one to defeat H.A.T.E. and restore order to Stardom?
Syuri: I will definitely defeat them (H.A.T.E.) and bring order back.
Pep: Back to Konami, at Dream Queendom 2024 you faced each other in a singles match. Unfortunately, the result was not as expected and we saw your frustration. Would you like the match to take place at All Star Grand Queendom 2025? Would you like it to be a match with UWF rules?
Syuri: I was really frustrated by the last match of 2024. At All Star Grand Queendom 2025 I will challenge Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship. I’m sure we’ll have a rematch somewhere later with Konami. I’m not fixated on UWF Rules. I just want the rematch.
Pep: You faced Sareee at Sareee-ISM Chapter VII in March. It was one of the most anticipated matches by pro wrestling fans. What are your feelings after the match?
Syuri: The match with Sareee ended in a draw. I want to evolve and fight more with her and win the next time.
Pep: Sareee has publicly stated that her goal in 2025 is to win the IWGP Women’s Championship. In 2024, you came close, but were unable to dethrone Mayu Iwatani. Do you still have that championship in mind, or are there any other Stardom/NJPW championships you’d like to win? Or any championships from Stardom’s allies like AEW, ROH, RevPro or CMLL?
Syuri: I have always wanted to wear the IWGP Women’s title on my waist, so right now I am focused on the IWGP Women’s belt and the match with Mayu Iwatani at All Star Grand Queendom.
Pep: We want to know a little more about you. Could you tell us what your current hobbies are? Also, could you tell us what a normal day in your life is like? For example, a day when you have a match.
Syuri: My hobby is watching tarot readings on YouTube. I also want to work as an actress, so I often practice action scenes to make use of the wrestling and martial arts I’ve learned so far.
Pep: Stardom is returning to America and will perform two shows in Las Vegas: April 17 and 18. What are your expectations for this tour? What kind of match would you like to have if you can participate?
Syuri: I want to wrestle more foreign wrestlers! I want many people to see the existence of Syuri, and I hope that the fun of Stardom will reach the world.
Pep: You have faced some great opponents throughout your career. Last year we saw an unexpected but highly-rated match when you faced Masha Slamovich in America. Is there any other opponent from anywhere in the world that you have not faced yet that you would like to have a singles match with?
Syuri: An opponent from the world that you haven’t faced yet that you would like to have a singles match with… I would like to fight wrestlers from all over the world, I would like to fight Athena!
Pep: What are your goals for 2025? What do you plan to do to achieve them?
Syuri: First of all, I will focus on wearing the IWGP Women’s Championship! I will continue to train and practice so that I can improve even more!
